Three Certifications for SDV International Logistics in Singapore

SDV International Logistics in Singapore is proud to announce that it has been awarded AS9120:2002 certification status in November 2009. The assessment was performed in accordance with the requirements of AS9104A, for the provision of air and sea freight forwarding, warehousing and logistics services for the aerospace industry.

The audit was conducted by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification.

The AS9120 Quality Management System was developed for pass-through distributors of aerospace commodity items. While based on ISO 9001:2008, AS9120 includes nearly 100 additional requirements specific to aerospace distributors. Our SDV’s branch in Singapore believes that with the AS9120 certification will give new opportunities.

Earlier in June 2009, our company has successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2000 certification for the eighth issue since 1995. The certification was being awarded by SGS under the accreditation of UKAS Quality System covering the scope of Air, Sea freight Forwarding and Warehousing. In this renewal, Oil & Gas site, which is located at Loyang Offshore Supply base, has been included in the certification.

Furthermore in May 2009, we have been also certified under the Secure Trade Partnership (STP) Program by the Singapore Customs. The program was launched in 25th May 2007 with the objectives of:

• Create awareness of the importance of adopting a total supply chain approach to cargo security;
• Encourage companies to play their part in securing their own processes within supply chains;
• Enhance the security of global supply chain and prevent disruptions to the smooth flow of goods; and
• Profile Singapore as a secure trading hub.

With this certification, it confirms SDV International Logistics Singapore’s commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen.
