Bourgogne:

Bourgogne is a huge region situated at the crossing of big communication routes.  Wine is probably one of the region's best ambassadors.  Its wine varieties are known and appreciated in the four corners of the earth.  This internationally famous product plays an undisputable role in local economy which is varied and based mainly on the electricity and electronic sectors, food processing, mechanics and metallurgy, packaging and plastics processes, car industry, parachemistry and pharmacy sectors. 

Bourgogne is ranked 6th in France for its trade surplus and almost 2/3 of its trade is concluded with the European Union.
