Spanish Triptych

Our teams in Montpellier recently picked up and
transported a wind turbine.
Leaving Roquetaille (France), the extraordinary
convoy was comprised of three lorries with 3
different destinations in Spain:
- the fi rst, with 3 24m-long blades and a total
weight of 4100 kg, headed for Imarcoain.
- The second one carried the 20 ton-generator,
headed for Villanueva de Gallego,
- And the third one transported the mast in two
pieces, with a total weight of 19 tonnes, and went
to the town of Olazagutia.
The transport and the negotiations with the
French Departmental Equipment Offi ce (DDE)
demanded technical expertise in the domain as
well as considerable rigour.
