SDV in Shanghai is the First SDV Office in China to be ISO 9001:2008 Certified

SDV International Logistics in Shanghai is proud to announce that it is the first office in China to be awarded multiple site certification of ISO 9001:2008 on Quality Management System in January 2010.
All of SDV offices in Shanghai, Baowan non-bonded warehouse, Pudong Airport office, head office are now fully certified.

This certification is valid for the three main activities presented in Shanghai, namely:
1. Provision of Air and Sea Freight Import and Export Forwarding
2. Warehouse Management
3. Heavy-lift Project Management

This Milestone was confirmed following the second stage audit held in SDV Shanghai’s office on 18th to 22nd Jan 2010 by Bureau Veritas being the Accredited Independent Certification Body.

The certification is the culmination of the effort of about seven months of preparation and hard work for the Shanghai ISO Implementation team together with the involvement of Senior Regional Human Resources Manager & Regional QHSE Manager based in Singapore.

In order to align with the Group Policy, we are now preparing for an “extension” from Quality to integrated QHSE certification under two standards as follows:

• ISO14001:2004, an international Environmental Management System
• OHSAS 18001:2007, an international certifiable standard in Occupational Health and Safety System
